Our red phased Dusty hog,(Richard Evans stock), is now about a year old, 16 inches long, and just switched him to "brained" pink rats... And he LOVES them! We put him in a separate container to feed him, once a week, and clean his cage while he's eating. Of all our snakes, he's our favorite! Hope this helps.
