Now he's missed the second dose, What do I do?!

I gave up trying to force his mouth open because I thought it was probably far more stressful than it was worth. So I tried smearing the paste on the back of a cricket (he eats from a dish) but now he's so stressed out from the handling that he didn't eat it. So now he's had the first dose but not the second.

Should I attempt to the second dose today (and the third tomorrow) or give up for now wait till he settles down and starts eating again so I can try the cricet thing again.

Please help!
