I just got a fecal exam on my white-line gecko and it came up with a small amount of pinworms. I'm told the medication must be administered orally but this could be a problem as Nefreu is wc and not handleable at all. I'm afraid trying to catch him three times a day to medicate could stress him out more than it's worth. Anyone have advice on how dangerous pinworms are in this species (very similar to Tokays)?
I am considering getting a female to breed with him (if I ever find a breeder that ships to Canada) and I am conerned that he could pass the parasites on to the new gecko.
So is it worth the stress? He presently apears healthy and is eating well.
