:I thought about injecting some Fenbendazole into prekill mice's mouths (into their stomachs)and then feeding it to some wild caught (undoubtably infested with internal parasites) mangrove snakes. Any ideas? Anyone tried it? Will it work, in theory?? Why or why not? Thanks in advance...

A while back there was a similar posting re: injecting pre-killed prey w/ medications. This method is not quite as efficient as direct oral (intubation); it takes longer for meds to work & pends on the reptile's metabolism. Another way to do this which is better, is to feed pre-killed prey that has the Fenbendazole dosage rubbed onto the fur near the rump of the rodent, then carefully proceed to feed.
Goodluck.
