Thanks alot for your advice, I'm going to keep using the triple antiobiotic ointment for a week or so to see if any improvements occur. The scab is brownish in color and it is not from a bite or injury related to that. It started on one side about 2 months ago and in the last couple of days it moved to the otherside of his mouth.

Also, if I put the ointment on the wound, won't the lizard just lick the ointment off thus rendering it usesless.
