Hey Dan, I use heat panels and would highly recommend experimenting with them. You can also tweak the humidity by trying bark or mulch as a substrate, using a larger water bowl, and decreasing the ventilation in your cage. Melamine holds in heat and humidity quite well, and I'm sure you will find a solution if you implement one or more of these suggestions.
