Hello, I am new to this forum, but have been reading posts for a while. Anyway, I got a new GTP at the NARBC show. It is an 01' female and was pretty fat for her age. She was obviously feeding for signal and she hasn't fed for me. I am not new to GTP's (I have raised my male since he was a neonate) but she seems like she's having problems adjusting still. Her set-up is theoretically good: low to mid 80's, plastic perch, paper towel substrate, etc.. She seems too passive when I attempt feeding, not just off forceps, but even live. I am starting to worry now that its been over a month. I am offering food during the evening, or leaving live overnight, but it's not working. She is not losing weight and it is still not a serious problem, but any suggestions would be apreciated. She is not a neonate, so many of the classic "tricks" probably won't work. Also, when I try to annoy her to get a strike she just hides her head or moves to another perch. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick.
