Yes. A snake grows rapidly from the hatchling stage until about the 2nd or 3rd year, then growth tapers off and they continue to grow less and less for most of their lifespan. One of the biggest factors in growth is food supply. So a snake that's fed once every 2 months intead of every 5 to 7 days for the 1st 1/3 of it's rapid growth period will likely never reach it's potential maximum size.
:Okay, a proper snake's diet for a corn snake and a ball python is once a week. Suppose that was stretched to once every 2 months for an 8 month period. Would that stunt a snakes growth? (No, I'm not planning to ever do this, so don't look at the computer screen that way again).
