Thats not to say the other person is wrong, or that the bugs will do any harm to your snakes. These snakes are not living in the wild, they are our pets. We have them in various enclosures with various substrates and methods of heating/lighting. We feed them and give them water ... why would you want some foreign "BUGS" crawling around in there with your snakes. What if larve does hatch? Where would the waste go? Do you want bugs breeding in the same tank as your precious snakes?? Again im pretty sure the creatures are harmless, but with all high end snakes I own, I try to maintain the healthiest living environment possible - bugs and any foreign creatures other than the 1 snake per tank is unacceptable for me.
:Yea, the problem has been around for some time now and i've never really gotten worried. Just kind of wanna get rid of them. I won't worry about it though. As long as I don't see any larvae pop up I shouldn't be to worried right?
