that you simply make a trip over to home depot, and purchase a "No Pest Strip". It comes in a blue package. The item itself is a white plastic strip which vents and on the inside its yellow. It kills a good number of pests =). I personally have used this - it kills mites too. BUT... since your snake does not have mites, you might want to house your snake in a seperate enclouse while you treat your substrate. I left the strip in the tank for about an hour - and all the bugs were dead. I then reused the strip to kill the bugs in ..hmm..err i bought a bag of orchid bark from a nursery.. you know the HUGE bags. I used the strip on that and wallah all bugs were dead.

:what would your solution be?
