I have heard that they are just fine in terms of dietary requirements. I also recall someone talking about the fact that, with some species(and I really don't remember which, so someone feel free to fill in the blanks) gerbils are closer to the snake's natural prey. In such a case, the only problem with feeding them might be that the snake would actually prefer them to the extent that they would later refuse mice. Again, I am going from memory of posts I have read, so feel free to correct me or add to the topic. In summary: worth a try if you are prepared for the possiblity that you will need to continue feeding gerbils to that snake. Good Luck. Duffy
:Does anyone know if feeding gerbils to snakes will satisfy their dietary requirements?
:I always use mice but seeing as gerbils breed so easily I was thinking of using these but am unsure.
