Well my recomendation while it may not be correct would depend on its injoys. If you end up keeping it for to long it would be agest the law "in cali" To release it to the wilde. Then agan if it only lost its tail or somthing you might just let it go somwere with the same habitat. give a little more info suck as size and extent of the wounds. I am interested to hear others recomendations on this matter.
