Texas Spiny Lizard, Female pregnant

Hi, i found a pregnant female texas spiny lizard in my back yard.. that is hurt from the next door neighbors cat.. i was wondering if anyone could help me decide to keep her until she gets better or let her go somewhere away from the cat. I need to know how well they can adapt to captivity and what they eat. If anyone has any websites i would appreciate the information.
