Well savs can get six feet and in my experience aren't the best captives. Ionides monitors are much better. They are related to savs an max out at 5-6 feet but have much less girth than a water monitor. Both Ionides and Savs have basically the same care. Here's another care sheet from Pro exotics. Also at the top of the care sheet is a Sav FAQ section.
