The older it is the harder it will be to tame. Any wild caught tokay is an automatic lost cause and anything past 2 years I think would be too. Never know though, I tamed mine (above) with bear hands but thats when it had small teeth. Anyway taming it with a glove is the only way for a large tokay. Because their teeth are designed to lacerate, they will easily slice and peel your skin off. You also have to remember that they will let go only when they want to so there is not many ways of removing them without causing damage to the gecko. Some say that if you blow into their mouth, it will dry up and it will cause them to let go and wet it again. This MIGHT work...didnt for me but either way, resist the initial instinct of smaking the gecko stuck to your hand against the wall, this will surely end your gecko owning experience.
