To add to what Mr. Moss said, i have a 2 and a half foot smoothfront caimen
and my cage for him is 10 feet long by 4 and a half feet wide..These animals need LOTS of space!! i know hes just a little hatchling but you will save yourself alot of money if you just build him a huge cage now instead of 9 or 10 cage changes. And they grow quick...beleive me ..it was only about half a year ago that he could fit in my hand
