She just has shed she was shedding when I found her yesterday could that play a role in it?

Sometimes shedding can be a problem with feeding. I have a rat snake that will eat any time any day whether shedding or not but a corn snake that won't eat for a week either side of a shed. You also should keep in mind that adjusting to captivity can play a role as well.
