so i know this forum is dedicated to Thamnophis but i couldn't find any other place where people might be amenable to questions about or even remotely knowledgeable about these guys so i hope you won't mind.
do any of you have any experience with Storeria?
several of these guys have come into my care and i was wondering about feeding ideas.
i have tried earthworms and only one will eat them
other ideas?
slugs are hard to get here (arizona) as are terrestrial snails (plus i worry about diseases from gastropods)
i might be able to get to a souce of "clean" grasshoppers
or possibly even plethodontids (i have been debating using red-backed salamnaders as a food source) any ideas or experiences to share?
