got a ribbon yesterday

i finally got my ribbon snake! it isnt an adult yet and i am not sure if it is an eastern or western but i assume eastern because it said "location: eastern united states".
i am not new to the hobby(i am starting to breed cuban knight anoles and uromastyx maliensis,mali uro). i have him/her(not sure, is there any way to tell except probing?)in a 10 gallon with a 30 watt basking lamp(it gets about 86 during the day) and flexi branches and live and fake plants, log hides, lagoon(complete with rosy red feeders!) and i am using exo terra jungle bark(i think that is what it is called) well i can not really think of anything else, oh wait, thought of sumthing, when it is an adult could i feed it small pinkies every once in a while?

p.s.- the fish sometimes jump out of the lagoon, is there anything i can do besides getting a bigger one? '
