Sad News - Just lost some snakes to cold snap

I took my snakes out of brumation (ventilated refridgerator) and moved them into my cold room (a basement bathroom). I usually place them on the window sill first then down to the floor of the room. Well the cold snap put temps into the low teens today and I found two female snakes frozen solid. Other snakes in the same shoe box were fine.

Funny thing is that I though they would be safer from freezing in the bathroom than the fridge.
