Well, I've made a round trip to Dallas TX in a weekend, so I'm not afraid of a measly 9 hours : ) I did however fail to take into account that snakes are seasonal. I was just worried about missing the delivery, I don't really know how that works.

I guess I'll just have to wait. Thanks!

:Seriously, I was ignoring your specification because it is very unlikely you will find someone near you selling at this time of year. Generally the snakes have their babies in the summer and fall. Wait for summer and you can have one shipped. It will be cheaper also since it will be a baby and not a sub-adult.
