Here is some pics of "Socks" my brothers maritime garter snake...

And his tank...

Got any tips on getting that unshed skin off his/her tail? Would letting him swim around in a bucket of warm water work? And how does the tank look, can you think of any improvements? And do you think it's a male or female?
