Hi!
I have two African Dwarf Frogs. I've owned them for a month and this is my first experience with them.
My question is can an ADF become obese, even when they are still growing (no, not bloated, just a little pudgy). Only one of my ADF's is pudgy, the other is rather skinny. He's also missing a hind foot- he has a stump that is as long as his foot and as thick as his leg, just no toes.
Could this just be from gender differences? I think the pudgy one might be female, and I've heard that males are generally more skinny. It's so hard to tell! Or could it be that the pudgy frog with all it's feet is just hoarding more food?
Thanks!
