I started with freeze-dried bloodworms. They were both skinny then! They pretty much ignored them. I switched to HBH Frog and Tadpole Bites about two weeks ago. These are soft sinking pellets. They went into a feeding frenzy! They really love this stuff. The only problem is that it falls through the cracks in the gravel and they are too small to dig it out yet. So I have a corner of the aquarium that doesn't have any gravel in it and I put the food there. They seem to like playing on the bare glass there.
