I let the rock soak in the sink over night and there is still this muddy like stuff coming off of it. I have a toothbrush that I use to scrub things off and when I used it on the rock it got a muddy foam on it. I think it's sand stone.
I put so much sealant around the divider that there is no chance of leaks HA HA but I will test it with water fist anyway. You never know right? I hav to wait to put the dirt in on the land side until this evening anyway because I need a couple more bricks of the coconut fiber. That one brick will only fill about 2 inches and I need three more. I'll put a layer of river rock on the land side as well for drainage. Just incase I get a little too overly excited watering the plants.
Thank you Marc!
:rinse the rock off. the stuff should settle soon enough anyway. but do not add everything into the tank before you know there are no leaks around the divider. let the water sit for at least six hours before adding the dirt so you know there are no pinhole leaks. and put a bead of glue on both sides of the divider
