what's the range of spring peeper's call?

yesterday it got up to 60 degrees out, so I went and had a frog-seeking walk. saw no green frogs breeding yet or vocalizing, but the wood frogs are out even though a bit of snow remains on the ground. saw one leopard frog ducking under cover as i passed. I heard spring peepers in abundance, but saw none, and they never sounded near to me. they play tricks on your ears, sounding so close, when they could be miles away. anyone know the range of their call?
