:He had not been eating for a week or so, and had shed twice in a fairly short amount of time (see the topic "another stupid Question") I knew something wasn’t right, so I made a vet appointment for today, but he died last night. I don’t think it was red-leg, because there is no reddish color to his belly or legs. I'm not sure what happened. Any Ideas? The pet store that I bought him from was keeping him in gravel. When I first got him he pooped out some. Is it possible that some may have still been in him and caused an impaction? I had him for a month and a half. Thanks for any ideas. –Bryan

Bryan:

So sorry for your loss, and I believe you tried your best with him. Like what's been mentioned, throw everything out, clean and steralize. If in time you'd like to try again, consider getting one from a breeder instead of a petshop if at all possible. His problems whatever they were could be stemming from poor unhealthy conditions there. And gravel impaction could very well have been part of it. Other than that, like Marc says...necropsy would be the only way you'd know otherwise. Again, sorry to hear the bad news.
