They are diurnal. If you have a screen cage you will see them sleeping hanging to it quite often. They are arboreal so this is natural.

:I was just curious if frillies were diurnal or nocturnal? Last night I saw that my two new frillies seemed to be awake and if they were asleep they were holding on to the side of the screen door in their cage. Is this characteristic of other frillies that you have out there? Just curious.
