Frillies: Diurnal or noncturnal?

I was just curious if frillies were diurnal or nocturnal? Last night I saw that my two new frillies seemed to be awake and if they were asleep they were holding on to the side of the screen door in their cage. Is this characteristic of other frillies that you have out there? Just curious.
