First, if you but animals from a pet store that does not take good care of there animals you are just paying to have another take its place.
Second, how old is it? I have been told that if it is a baby not to feed it pinkies. If you need to fatten it up try wax worms.
Third, make sure to mist it twice a day until it stops drinking and also soak it once a day. From what I have been told they really need the water to surrive.
If you have any questions, this fourm is a great place to ask. But it moves kind of slow:)
