I have never run into any Contia in Western Washington. I think there may be some information on the population at Gravelly Lake through the University of Washington. I believe that no specimens have been found there for decades, however.

I'll be exploring a new spot in extreme southern Kittitas County once the weather warms a bit more. Last year I found E. multicarinatus, Diadophis punctatus, Contia, and Charina at the same location. This must be the northern range for Southern Alligator Lizards and Ringneck Snakes. Could there be zonata there too? We'll see...
