Casey:
I have been to Cle Elum twice in order to examine and acquire data on a larger sample of Contia from Washington. This is in the vicinity of the fish hatchery at the west end of town and happened to encounter, take data, and tissue samples of four boas as well. I never went west to Roslyn but I see from the map that it is not too far west of Cle Elum.
Have you ever found Contia on the west side of the Cascades in Washington? I have intended on going up to the Gravely Lake region in or near Tacoma where the species was originally found in Washington but never have taken the time to do so.
