Herp Hunting in North Texas

Anyone in here from North Texas around Amarillo. I would like to go searching for snakes around the Amarillo area with someone. I want someone to teach me everything they know. Im 18 and this is what I want to do for a career. I love tracking down these beautiful animals and seeing them up close. They are a passion and I can't seem to find anyone as interested as I am. I raise Poison dart frogs (Dendrobates) as well. E-mail if you want to go road hunting or have some information. I wouldn't mind being an apprentice to a biologist or something either.
