Take a paint roller, remove the part that you actually use to paint, then you have your hook. Get an aluminum broomstick, and unscrew the broom, so you just have the aluminum shaft. Then screw the paint roller onto the aluminum broom stick, and there you have it, a snake hook. It also works great for flipping small things, mine lifted a full can of paint. You can take off some of the end if you want, as this tool is pretty long. Good luck,
