:I was keeping babies in a rubbermaid with egg crate, damp tissue on a lid and heat pad but they would all die. Someone said they had success with putting moist soil witch I did and they are staying alive. My quetion is how do I keep it moist inside with drowning the crickets by spraying the water?

I think I am the one that mentioned the soil. What I do is spray it once a day.....just a fine mist and enough to wet the top of it. It seems to work for me and I don't notice drowning anyone.
