found deceased female rat today

Well I’m new at breeding rats (only a few litters), and this girl just birthed her second litter. I knew it was bad, as she bled too much, or so I thought. But I watched her for a while and she seemed to be ok.
Well 3 weeks passed and she’s dead.
Qu: is it most likely related to the birth as I suspected?? Or could other circumstances have caused this??
I moved all other rats, and disinfected the cage, and will monitor them.
