Even if things were clean some people just do not like rodents living near them.
I had a lady buy the house next to me and when she found out what I did she had the police, humane society, county and state health department, and the city zoning officials at my place. almaost every day for about 10 months.
By the way she worked for the state health department.
But I keep every thing clean and had all my paper work in order. So she finally sold her house, because every one got tired of coming over here and seeing that she was always stretching the truth.
just make sure to check your local laws. In most places there are none as they do not think of people breeding that many rodents
::Illegal animal trade ? haha give me a break you watch to much tv.
::yup, that couple hours a week of Stargate SG1 is killing me-distorting my realitys. Maybe it is the work in the pet trade and at the zoo that made me a bit more aware of how much illegal animal trade goes on. I am by no means supporting need for legislation but if the laws are in place and broken it is illegal....like it or not some law enforcement folks get funny about that sort of thing.
::And it sounds like this was a neglect or abuse issue for the animals or a health code violation. Mice are often considered vermin....especially with that many in one place.
:"This building is completely full -- there's very little room to even walk around in there," said Steve Lira of Oklahoma City Animal Control.
:He could face three misdemeanor charges, police said.
