:Illegal animal trade ? haha give me a break you watch to much tv.

:yup, that couple hours a week of Stargate SG1 is killing me-distorting my realitys. Maybe it is the work in the pet trade and at the zoo that made me a bit more aware of how much illegal animal trade goes on. I am by no means supporting need for legislation but if the laws are in place and broken it is illegal....like it or not some law enforcement folks get funny about that sort of thing.
:And it sounds like this was a neglect or abuse issue for the animals or a health code violation. Mice are often considered vermin....especially with that many in one place.

"This building is completely full -- there's very little room to even walk around in there," said Steve Lira of Oklahoma City Animal Control.

He could face three misdemeanor charges, police said. Doesn't sound like a little overcrowding when several neighbors said the 'stench was unbearable' and they had been complaining for months. I suppose you can all be paranoid about it or you can not. If the animals were properly cleaned and housed would it have been an issue?
