Looking for info on grasshoppers (more)

I was looking into feeding my beardies grasshoppers as well as all the other feeder insects I feed them. Problem is I cant find commercial raised grasshoppers here in the USA. Does anyone know where I can buy some?

Also is there a way to catch a bunch in the wild (preferably somewhere in the woods where people are less likely to use pesticides) and use those as breeders to make new babies for food? Is there a safe way to rid the wild grasshoppers of possible parasites? Maybe some kind of dewormer in their food in a safe amount? Plus if a grasshopper is exposed to pesticides, dont they die?

I am just exploring options and asking questions. If anyone has any information, that would be great, thanks. LindsayMarie
