It's ok. Happens to the best of us. My gopher figured out a trick to her lid. I thought I left it open the first time, but she figured out someway to get through the locking lid and is out again. I have kept snakes since I was VERY little and have never had an escape until a month ago. She was found the next day, and returned to her cage. 2weeks later she is gone again. I am ditching the cage and getting a new one lol. Anyway, good look finding the garter. Andy
