escaped snake around small cat

I just discovered that a very aggressive(always comes out of her hide strikes at me when I'm near her aquarium) ball python that my girlfriend just bought a few months ago. I have looked everywhere but can't find it. The snake is anywhere from 2-3 feet, I don't know. We have a very small, gentle cat in the house, is he in danger? The snake has not been fed in months and like I said, she is very aggressive. Could she harm or kill a small cat at this size? Please help.
