lost carpet python

My 2 year old carpet python escaped and I have torn apart my room looking for her. I am at a loss as to where else to look. If by chance she managed to make it outdoors, does anyone know where she would most likely head? I live in Virginia Beach and the weather has been up and down, but definitely not summer warmth. Would this discourage her from cruising? Do snakes ALWAYS seek out warmth when they get cool? Any info would be greatly appreciated, I am ripping my hair out and my husband is not happy with me. Thank you.
