if its a carpet python and it got out side start looking in the tops of trees carpets are great climbers and love to get as high up as possible they are verry proficient climbers.........if the snake didnt get outside look at the tops of shelves and any place that would allow the snake to get up off the floor if its cool in your house look for warm places like behind the refridgerator or under the stove (try to think where youd go if you were a snake)
