King Cobra's and coral snakes are also snake eaters but in captivity they can be fed on rats. I presume this might be the case with Kraits as well. I have noticed that Kraits are very rare among hot herpers and herp breeders. Is this because they are endangered in their natural habitat? The banded krait is native to Taiwan[I think] and is bred in Asia but has become very rare in the wild there...
:Indeed, they are beautiful, and deadly. But they are very placid. Some don't bite even when handled roughly. As far as I know they eat other snakes. So,if you think you can feed him snakes(or get it to eat something else) go get it.
