for #1 you'll have to ask someone else, i'm not sure.
#2 you don't really want to mix anything else in, when the water dragons get bigger they'll easily take down a lot of frogs and depending on the type it could be dangerous to them. other lizards? possibly austrailian water dragon ( someone else confirm?) and i know green basilisk ( basiliscus plumifrons) will live fairly well with water dragons. prolly the brown also. for my 3 story cage which is 7ft. tall, 3 ft. wide, and 2.5 ft. deep i used construction plastic along the back and sides. ( the clear stuff they use to waterproof a house with before it is finished) and it actually looks quite nice and still holds in humidity. don't do this unless you can support the plastic so it won't tear out. this is also very easy to replace by sections and very cheap. on the front i used regular black screen ( don't know the type?) but that was also quite cheap. good luck and keep researching before you purchase and the reptiles will make you much happier and it will cause you and the lizards much less stress.
