K so im new to WD and am planning to purchuse 1 or 2. I have been doing tons of research, and im just trying to bridge my gaps of knowledge here. I plan on building my own cage, which totals around 72 cubic feet. I want a water pond in there with may some fish. But what im wondering on this front, is what water plants can/cant i use?
Secondly, since i have alot of space, is it okay to have other types of lizards? I have heard of people inetegrating frogs into there habitat. I know everyone says dont dont dont, but with so much space and foliage, im confident that the smaller lizards could hide, or be left undestirbed? i dont know, im asking you.
Thirdly, im really curious about substrates, i want a realistic, pro looking habitat, but wut ive gotten it down to is you can only safely use newspapaer with no ink on it? What are recommendations?
Fourthly, im trying to figure out wut sort of containment i should use for my cage. Glass is very uneconimical for this project. Wire mesh can cause damage, any other ideas? I was thinking of finding that wire mesh (1/4 inch) that has that plastic coating on it?
