i don't claim to be an expert on what's happening at the DFWHS, as i pointed out in my discussion above (where i claim only limited involvement with your club). if the discussion of separating yourselves from the Texas Reptile Expo was more involved than what i characterized above, then i have to take your word on it. however, i've learned that often APPEARANCES matter a great deal, and that's what i was was getting at.

like i said in the earlier post, i think you guys did the right thing, given your society's goals, by separating yourselves from the Texas Reptile Expo.

however, even you must agree, that from the outside looking in, when one of your board members very quickly steps up to the plate to promote a NEW and COMPETING show, that it looks fishy.

that's all i was trying to point out, and that a society needs to be very careful in handling its relationship with a reptile show.
