Hi! I'm a biology teacher who gets all "trapped" critters delivered to me. We've got a grass or garter snake and I can't ID it and don't know what to feed it in captivity (only keeping it for classroom until summer). Its 6-8 inches long, dark green/olive in color with no stripes, a little thicker than a pencil at widest part of body. Doesn't seem interested in crickets (they seem too big for eat to eat!) Any advice? Its in an aquarium with bark, water dish, stick to climb. Thanks!
