You don't need but it helps to have proffesional references. David I know would be more than willing to tell you what you have to do. He has the numbers of the USFWS office you need to contact. I also believe you can obtain the forms on line at the USFWS page. It is a permit for "interstate transfer of an endangered species". There is a "captive bred wildlife permit" also but that is not needed so don't waste your time with that one. Have a lot of patience and expect to be turned down. Good luck, Tom
