After staring into the eyes of my dogs I realized that, compared to the ""All Knowing/Loving"" self included.....we are all just a bunch of dumb dogs. (this is where some of you would disagree) Now when I (amature) speculate about rattlesnake cognition, after a little observation, I belive that they are concerned with the present moment. I assume that they are not family planning or re-living old memories. So, if well maintained why not keep one? "Well tubedog, snakes need to get laid too." Rattlesnakes have to reproduce but its man that cannot live on bread alone.
